CHILDREN'S SAILING

CHildren's sailing

Imagine waking up on the deck of a sailboat, the sea is roaring around you and your kids are already planning how to hunt for pirate treasure. No, this isn't a dream or an adventure movie - this is the reality of a kids' flotilla cruise! This week on the water promises not only unforgettable experiences for little sailors, but also well-deserved relaxation for parents. So what do you say, will you join in?

What is a children's flotilla sailing?

A children's flotilla cruise is a unique opportunity to spend a family holiday at sea, combining fun with learning and adventure. Imagine a fleet of ten sailing boats, each led by an experienced skipper who not only knows how to navigate a boat through rough seas, but also knows how to keep your little ones entertained. And don't worry about the kids getting bored - the programme is full of games, competitions and treasure hunts, so every day is different and full of surprises.

Why go on a flotilla cruise with children?

You may be wondering why you should choose this form of holiday. The answer is simple: because it's an experience your children won't forget. It's a chance to take them away from screens and bring them back to nature and adventure. What's more, while the kids are having fun under the supervision of instructors, you can enjoy moments of peace on board. Finally, a vacation where you and your kids can relax!

What activities await the little sailors?

Children can enjoy a wide range of activities to help them develop their physical and mental abilities. They will learn new skills every day, whether it's swimming, diving or snorkelling. For the more adventurous, there is a slackline over the water or climbing the mast with the help of a bocmano. And who can resist a water battle on inflatable boats? In addition, the pirate treasure hunt and the trail of courage present the perfect opportunity to experience a real adventure.

Practical information for parents

If you're already packing your bags, we have some practical advice for you. The cruise takes place in Croatia, specifically in Marina Hramina, which is approximately ten hours by car from Prague. Of course, if you don't feel like driving, it is possible to use the bus service. The food is taken care of by an excellent floating kitchen, so you don't have to worry about meals for the whole family. And while the kids are supervised by instructors, you can indulge in a well-deserved rest.

How to register and what to bring?

You can sign up as a crew on one of the boats with a skipper or join with your own boat and use only the children's program. In terms of packing, in addition to the basics such as swimwear and sunscreen, we recommend bringing your children's favourite toys for them to use during their free time. And don't forget the trip cancellation insurance, which can come in handy in case of unexpected events. The captain will always brief you on the next day's programme in good time, so you can relax and enjoy every moment of this unique cruise.

Skradin Itinerary: The Best of the Town and the National Park

When my boss sent me an email with the subject line “ASAP” for the sixth time that day, I knew it was time to get out of there. Anywhere with no cell service, where the only deadline is sunset. I chose Croatia. But not the typical kind, where you fight for a spot to lay your towel at the campsite. I wanted something more. And so my personal Skradin itinerary was born—a plan for a week-long escape from reality, where the wind in my hair and the salt water on my skin take center stage.
