Koh Samui
Day 1: Koh Samui (0.00 NM)

Day 1: Koh Samui (0.00 NM)

It all starts on Koh Samui, an island famous for its beaches with sand so white that even a washing powder dealer would be proud of it. While crowds of tourists sweat on the beaches of Chaweng and Lamai, we board our floating home in a quiet fishing village. Whether it's a sailboat or a spacious catamaran, Thailand looks completely different from its deck. We raise anchor, wave to the crowds, and set off toward the horizon. That feeling of freedom? Priceless.

Day 2: Koh Samui – Koh Ang Thong National Park (25.00 NM)

Day 2: Koh Samui – Koh Ang Thong National Park (25.00 NM)

Your first night at sea, and in the morning you wake up at the gates of Ang Thong National Park. Forty-two limestone islands jutting out of the sea like the teeth of some prehistoric monster. This place is so surreal that Leonardo DiCaprio filmed The Beach here. And now you're here. You paddle your kayak through hidden lagoons, climb to viewpoints that make your head spin, and discover caves with names like "Sleeping Cow." What more could you want?

Day 3: Koh Ang Thong National Park – Koh Taen (20.00 NM)

Day 3: Koh Ang Thong National Park – Koh Taen (20.00 NM)

After the epic scenery of Ang Thong, it's time for a little peace and quiet. We sail to Koh Taen, a small island where the word "rush" does not exist. Cell phone signal? Forget it. Instead, you'll find coral reefs slowly recovering from the days when dynamite fishing was still in vogue. Walk through a mangrove forest where monitor lizards peek out from the branches and discover a small temple with a freshwater spring right on the beach. It's escape in its purest form.

Day 4: Koh Taen – Koh Phangan (22.00 NM)

Day 4: Koh Taen – Koh Phangan (22.00 NM)

From tranquility straight to the epicenter of entertainment. Or not? Koh Phangan is famous for its Full Moon Parties on Haad Rin Beach, where thousands of people throw fluorescent paint at each other and dance until dawn. But that's only one side of it. More than half of the island is a national park full of waterfalls and jungle. It is also a spiritual center with dozens of temples and yoga studios. So you can choose: either thumping bass and buckets of alcohol, or inner peace and sun salutations. Or both, why not? We only live once.

Day 5: Koh Phangan – Koh Tao (25.00 NM)

Day 5: Koh Phangan – Koh Tao (25.00 NM)

We continue north to Koh Tao, also known as "Turtle Island." Once a sleepy fishing village, today it is a mecca for divers from around the world. And rightly so. Put on your fins and goggles and suddenly you are in another universe. You swim among schools of colorful fish, admire coral gardens, and with a little luck, you might even encounter a turtle or a harmless shark. The underwater life here is so rich that you won't want to get back on the boat.

Day 6: Koh Tao – Koh Ma (20.00 NM)

Day 6: Koh Tao – Koh Ma (20.00 NM)

On the sixth day, we turn back south. Our destination is Koh Ma, a tiny island connected to Koh Phangan by a narrow sandbar that only appears at low tide. Crossing the sea without getting your feet wet? Here, it's almost possible. On one side is the quiet Mae Haad beach, on the other is the wilder Koh Ma. It's the perfect place for one last good snorkeling session or a hike up the hill for a panoramic view of the sunset.

Day 7: Koh Ma - Koh Samui (20.00 NM)

Day 7: Koh Ma - Koh Samui (20.00 NM)

The last day is marked by a leisurely sail back to Koh Samui. The sails are down, the engine is humming, and the whole week is replaying in my head. The last swim in the crystal clear waters, the last lunch on deck. In the evening, we anchor back in civilization. Salty, tired, but incredibly happy. And now what? Well, celebrate this incredible week at one of the local restaurants, of course!
